Harris Animal Hospital was founded in 1973 by Dr. Charles C. Harris. Through his leadership, the practice was built on a foundation of hard work, clinical excellence, and a deep commitment to compassionate veterinary care for the pets of the Roanoke Valley community. Over five decades, that dedication to quality medicine and client service has established the hospital as a trusted pillar of veterinary care in the region.
Following Dr. Harris’s passing in 2010, Dr. Lucinda Hodges—who has been a veterinarian with the practice since 1992—assumed leadership and has continued to uphold the hospital’s longstanding tradition of excellence. Under her guidance, our dedicated team of professionals works collaboratively to provide exceptional medical and surgical care.
